Affinity Photo error

I was using El Capitan on my mac (mid 2012 model). Affinity extensions were fully functional with photos app.

Last week i updated to Sierra and now the affinity extensions have stopped working. Here is what exactly happens every time i try using an extension, it opens up i can edit the image also. But when i try saving the image it says "Unable to edit with Affinity retouch, An unexpected error occurred."

I am using Affinity 1.4.1
